LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to hire an Accountant for a hybrid role based in Baraga, MI (3 days onsite, 2 remote). Accountant Responsibilities- Prepare cost and inventory reports, including COGS and key financial summaries
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs
- Evaluate cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and production costs
- Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and ops teams
- Support physical inventory counts and ensure accurate reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement prep
- Perform journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Track KPIs and generate reports using Excel and Power BI
- Drive improvements in reporting, automation, and accounting processes
- Handle ad hoc analysis and reporting needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1–3+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Power BI
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
- Cost accounting or manufacturing experience preferred
