RESPONSIBILITIES WE’LL TRUST YOU WITH:- Deliver Everyday Banking Support Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cashier’s checks, money orders, and more with accuracy, care, and professionalism.
- Ensure Accuracy and Accountability Balance daily transactions, monitor cash totals, and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain operational excellence and security.
- Provide Knowledgeable Member Support Answer questions, offer guidance, and assist with account updates, safe deposit access, and general inquiries both in-person and over the phone.
- Promote Embers Products and Services Share helpful information and recommend services to strengthen member relationships and support their financial well‑being.
- Uphold Compliance and Confidentiality Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure member privacy, regulatory compliance, and safe handling of all currency and negotiable instruments.
- Create a Warm and Welcoming Atmosphere Help make Embers’ lobbies inviting and friendly spaces where members feel seen, supported, and comfortable engaging in their financial needs.
- Represent Embers in Every Interaction Project professionalism and warmth while delivering the kind of service that keeps members coming back and referring others.
- Other Duties as Assigned Support the team with additional clerical tasks, drive‑up service, night drop, or other responsibilities that ensure smooth branch operations.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or cash handling preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with credit union or financial service operations is a plus—we’ll train the right person.
- Excellent communication and member service skills.
- Solid math and cash‑handling skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Professionalism, demonstrating a professional appearance and attitude.
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, email, and other relevant tools.
- Willingness to assist others and contribute to a positive team environment.
Talking:
Frequent communication required, especially where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Average Hearing:
Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Average Visual Abilities:
Ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
Physical Strength:
Active work; standing, reaching, kneeling, stooping, bending and manipulating small and large objects most of the time. Requires occasional lifting (>25 lbs).
