Join Our Leading Obstetrics and Gynecology Department as a Dedicated Specialist Elevate your medical career by becoming a key contributor in a dynamic and highly regarded Obstetrics and Gynecology team. We are seeking a skilled and committed OB-GYN professional to provide exceptional patient care, respond to emergencies promptly, and collaborate effectively with residents and medical students. This vital role offers the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment that values expertise, compassion, and continuous learning.
Required Skills:
Active Michigan medical license (no IMLC) Minimum Board Certification or eligible status in OB-GYN Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology practice Ability to respond to emergency situations within 10 minutes Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Available for 24-hour call rotations, including weekends and holidays Capacity to see approximately 370-380 deliveries annually Ability to supervise residents and medical students Completion of a conscious sedation module preferred (training available free of charge) Nice to Have
Skills:
Additional certifications such as ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS, ABLC
Experience with high patient volumes and complex cases Familiarity with hospital stroke protocols and emergency response procedures Experience working in a teaching hospital environment Preferred
Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in OB-GYN Prior experience supervising residents and medical students Other Requirements:
Must respond to emergency calls within 10 minutes Availability to work scheduled shifts as outlined Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions Travel reimbursements and licensure/certification reimbursements as applicable This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive environment that values your expertise.
