Key Responsibilities- Develop, program, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Design and implement Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support for automation systems, electrical controls, and instrumentation.
- Lead the design, specification, and integration of new control systems, sensors, and robotic applications.
- Manage automation projects from conceptualization through commissioning, including budget and timeline adherence.
- Create and maintain comprehensive electrical schematics, control narratives, and other technical documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements and optimizations through automation to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Extensive experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing HMI/SCADA systems (e.g., Factory Talk View, Ignition, Wonderware).
- Strong understanding and practical application of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical and control system issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with interpreting and modifying electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control panel layouts.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience with industrial robotics (FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Universal Robots).
- Proficiency in vision system integration and programming (Cognex, Keyence, Sick).
- Familiarity with database integration and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Knowledge of industrial network cybersecurity best practices.
