Being an Environmental Services Tech on the UPHSM team means taking pride in making sure that patient environments are safe, clean, and sanitary. A major part of providing the best in patient care means ensuring that our patients and their families feel comfortable through all stages of their time with us. Our Techs do just that by keeping patient rooms, offices, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas clean and sterile.

During the course of your day you will have the chance to experience many different facets of the healthcare industry and to make a significant impact on the people you come in contact with. Patients and staff alike will be counting on you to uphold the highest standards of performance to maintain a safe and cleanly setting at all hospital levels.

• Our patients and the care they receive is our highest priority. An ideal candidate will take pride in putting their best foot forward every day to make sure that the UPHSM team has the patient on the forefront of everything we do.
• Having good speaking and writing skills will be important for successful communication within and between departments.
• Heavy physical effort may be required including lifting 50 pounds or more, prolonged standing and walking, and manual dexterity.
• We believe in the power of a positive attitude, applicants who are excited to do their best for patients and are willing to learn and grow as part of a team will thrive with us!
• High school graduate or equivalent
