Located on the shores of Lake Superior, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Human Resources to support a 100-employee manufacturing facility. This role is a key member of the leadership team and serves as a strategic advisor to the President, helping shape and execute people strategies that support business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a strategic partner to leadership on workforce planning and talent strategy
- Lead employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives
- Oversee total rewards programs, including compensation and benefits
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support succession planning and leadership development efforts
- Drive a positive workplace culture in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Salary range: $110,000 – $130,000
