Position Title: Custodian-Dining Services

Department: Dining Services

Term of Assignment: Continuing

Term End Date, If Applicable:

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt = overtime eligible

Work Schedule: Variable shifts/days/locations, including afternoon and weekend shifts; typical shift start times are Sunday through Saturday, with potential start times between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.

Salary: Hourly rate: $19.24 starting; $20.12 working

Travel: No travel

Brief Statement of Duties: Under routine supervision, engage in a variety of housekeeping, custodial and maintenance projects in University buildings and on adjacent grounds.

Required

Education:

High School Graduation or Equivalent

Required Specialized Training/

Certifications:

Valid motor vehicle operator's license as required.

Required Minimum

Work Experience:

Combination of one year of experience in custodial and/or building maintenance work in hotels/motels, apartments, or relevant business or institutional settings.

• Physical capability to perform all the duties and responsibilities of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to pass relevant oral, written, and/or performance testing.

• Demonstrated effective experience dealing with the public.
