** Elastomers Operator
** in Hemlock, MI! If you are an outgoing individual who takes initiative with their work and is great at multitasking, then this is the role for you! These positions have a minimum starting hourly rate of $21 per hour and have potential for overtime opportunities. Eligible for an additional $1 per hour if assigned to a role that covers midnight shift and $2 per hour if assigned to a role that covers afternoon shift.

As an Elastomer Operator you will set up, operate, and monitor automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. You may be required to rotate through various production/process equipment operator roles.
** RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION*
* ** Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:*
* * Operate process related equipment and plant process control systems in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
* Optimize plant performance by monitoring process equipment and conditions using information systems including temperatures, pressures, and flow rates
* Adjusting control systems and manually operated equipment based on process and lab data
* Determining root causes of deviations in process, product, or equipment performance through use of troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
* Identifying opportunities for improvement and implement improvements when appropriate
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS*
* ** Requirements:*
* * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
* Willing and able to work all applicable shifts including weekends, holidays and work overtime when needed. Production area would move to a 24/7 rotating 12 hr shift when required.
* Willing and able to lift 50 lbs, lift hoses, bolt flanges, and operate valves and similar equipment routinely
* The ability to perceive, identify, and respond to plant and site alarms
