As a CNC Operator, you will run production and prototype work on CNC machining centers, Swiss turning centers, and Wire EDM equipment in an ISO 13485-certified, FDA-registered production environment. This is precision medical device work, not general job-shop machining, and it comes with a straightforward full-time schedule and relocation assistance for candidates moving to the Marquette, MI area.

• Set up and run CNC machining centers, Swiss turning centers, and Wire EDM equipment to produce production and prototype medical device parts.
• Use CAM software and solid modeling programs to support standard production and prototype runs.
• Perform precision measurement and gauging inspections before, during, and after machining to confirm parts meet customer requirements.
• Monitor machining operations for malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust machine controls as needed.
• Interpret GD&T specifications to optimize fixturing and programming.
• Document process sheets, prints, tool lists, and inspection procedures to verify conformance to requirements.
• Run preventive maintenance checks on machine centers before, during, and after operations.
• Follow safety awareness practices, help maintain an orderly 5S work area, and collaborate with the team to resolve machining problems and hit the production schedule.

Required:

• Hands-on experience operating CNC equipment such as machining centers, Swiss turning centers, or Wire EDM.
• Ability to use precision measuring and gauging tools and perform in-process inspections.
• Ability to read prints and interpret GD&T specifications.
• A safety-first mindset and willingness to follow 5S and lean manufacturing practices.

Full-Time schedule. Relocation assistance is available for candidates relocating to the Marquette, MI area.
