To assist the Medical Director as a health care practitioner under the scope of the Nurse Practitioner license. The individual must possess the skills and knowledge necessary to provide medical care to individuals with disabilities in a long-term care setting. The essential skills of this position are to provide medical assessments, perform medical procedures, and provide primary clinical therapy to the residents of the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans, a primarily geriatric resident population.

EducationPossession of a master's degree in nursing accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
ExperienceThree years of specialized, technical experience as a registered nurse practitioner.
Possession of a Michigan license in good standing as a registered nurse.
