Registered Nurse (RN), Surgery (OR)

Job Type: Full-Time | 0.75 FTE or 60 hours per patient per week.

Schedule:

10-hour shifts, varied start times, rotating weekends and holidays.

$7,500 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants.

As an OR RN you will join a high‑performing, collaborative team to deliver safe, high‑quality care.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
• Document patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual or psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well‑being.

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Basic Life Support – Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP).
