Clinical Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical (Exempt)

54‑bed acute Medical and Surgical unit (3 wings with 18 beds each). Good support from care aides. Variety of patient conditions and interventions. Fast‑paced unit with admissions and discharges throughout the shift.

• Assist with developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives supporting the organizational strategic plan and vision.
• Manage staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Perform and oversee scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagement.
• Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determine and justify needs for system/equipment/supplies purchases, monitor usage, and ensure proper working order/stock supplies.
• Assess quality of patient care delivered and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Provide patient care when necessary.
• Create and foster an environment encouraging professional growth.
• Integrate evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

• Michigan RN license and an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP).
• Two (2) years nursing experience.
• Seven (7) years managerial experience (preferred).
