Registered Nurse (RN)

Full‑Time, 0.9 FTE, 12‑hour night shifts with $7,500 sign‑on bonus (subject to eligibility).

UP Health System – Marquette, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a registered nurse to provide high‑quality care and contribute to community health. Nurses in the staffing pool cover med/surg, neuro/ortho/peds, rehab, and cardiac units and can advance to specialty units such as ICU and ED after one year of experience.

• Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluate patient/family learning needs and provide age‑appropriate education.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

• Valid Michigan RN license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS‑HCP) certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred; ability to adapt to varied environments.
