Full-Time | 1.0 FTE | 8-hour Afternoon Shifts
How you will contributeAn Assistant Manager (RN) who excels in this role:
- Supervise and coordinate afternoon OR staff.
- Coordinate changes to the OR schedule with the anesthesia team and surgeons.
- Communicate with the PAR and PACU nursing staff to facilitate improved throughput of patients.
- Complete patient and family rounding and service recovery as needed.
- Make adjustments to staffing as needed to account for add on or cancelled cases.
- Provide patient care as needed to facilitate surgical needs of patients.

Applicants should have a state of Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).
Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP)
- 2 years Perioperative Experience (Preferred)
- 3 years Leadership Experience (Preferred)
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) (Preferred)
