Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Unit
Job Type: PRN | 0.001 FTE | Varied Shifts
Schedule:
12-hour shifts (7-7)
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Documents patient care provided.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Current Michigan RN license.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year.
- IMCU cross-training within 1 year.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year.
