Clinical Quality Lead (RN), Quality Management 1.0DV

Works closely with organizational leadership and medical staff to identify opportunities for Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI), and other performance improvement projects as identified.

Gathers, analyzes, interprets and presents quality measurement data.

Compares the quality of clinical care with internal and external benchmarks as well as evidence-based best practice guidelines.

To assess reliability and facilitate continuous improvement of clinical processes and outcomes of care.

Ensures reliable data to external data registries through high-quality clinical screening.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and/or has completed applicable certification requirements within six months of hire and/or Three (3) years experience in patient clinical nursing

• Licensed in the state of Michigan as registered nurse
• BLS certified

• CPHQ

• Database data entry and/or management experience preferred
• Statistical knowledge preferred
• Quality improvement or patient safety knowledge and experience preferred
• Clinical chart review and abstraction experience preferred

• Ability to interact with all members of the healthcare team and administrative staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Computer and Internet skills and experience required- familiarity and comfort with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)

• Moderate physical efforts (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.)
