More About Our TeamOur PACU team supports twelve (12) ORs, providing safe, vigilant post‑operative care and ensuring smooth, secure patient transitions after anesthesia.
How You'll Contribute- Assists with developing specific department goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies the need for systems/equipment/supplies purchase, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
- Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
Additional Requirements Include- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 1 year)
- 2‑years nursing experience
- 7‑years managerial experience (preferred)
