Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Department
Job Type: Full-Time | 0.9 FTE or 72 hours/pp

Schedule:

6 x 12‑hour Day shifts, 7a-7p, Rotating Weekends and Holidays

$7,500 Sign‑On Bonus available to well‑qualified applicants.

The ED provides unscheduled outpatient services to patients requiring immediate care and operates 24/7/365. The role offers learning opportunities, teamwork, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in patient lives.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Assess patient and/or family learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP).
• Handle with Care‑Advanced within 90 days.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 1 year.
• One to two years of inpatient med/surg or critical care experience preferred.
