Job Type: Full-Time | 0.9 FTE or 72 hours per pay period
Schedule:
6 x 12‑hour Night Shifts, 7 p‑7 a, Rotating Weekends and Holidays
$7,500 Sign‑On Bonus available to qualified applicants
More about our teamNOP is a 24‑bed specialty med/surg unit that cares for neuro, ortho, and pediatric patients with scheduled procedures, trauma events, and acute conditions. The team is experienced, supportive, and known for collaborative teamwork.
How you'll contribute- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 1 year)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) (within 1 year)
