Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Quality Analyst

Job Type

Full-Time | 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per person per week | Exempt/Salaried

Schedule

8-hour M-F Day shifts, Flexible Start Times (8am-4:30pm)

How You'll Contribute
  • Maintains regulatory, accreditation and certification requirements and processes.
  • Conducts performance and process improvement activities through consultation, development of performance measures, education, chart reviews, root cause analysis, data collection and analysis to achieve safety and quality goals.
  • Analyzes data.
  • Develop presentations and facilitate meetings.
  • Participates and attends meetings as required and/or assigned.
  • Serves as an educational resource when needed.
  • Conducts department/unit rounding as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should possess an associate's degree (bachelor's preferred) in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Quality or other healthcare related fields. Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.

Additional Requirements Include
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) (preferred)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN) in State of Michigan (Preferred)
  • Minimum Work Experience, One to three years diverse clinical practice in an acute care environment required.
