Schedule: 5 x 12-hour shifts, Days (7a-7p), Rotating Weekends and Holidays
Sign-On Bonus: $7,500 available to qualified applicants

Enjoy the fast pace of the Emergency Department combined with the clinical depth of inpatient care. In our Observation Unit, your key tasks include monitoring patients, supporting timely clinical decisions, and guiding them safely to the next step in their care—whether that is admission or discharge.
Responsibilities- Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Document patient care provided.
- Work closely with providers to ensure patients meet observation criteria. Monitor patients for 24-48 hours to assess their condition and determine if they need to be admitted as an inpatient or discharged.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Act as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

Applicants must have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
Additional Requirements- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – preferred
