Registered Nurse - Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description:
Join a 225-bed specialty care hospital offering a diverse range of medical services. As a Registered Nurse in the Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit, you will provide care to patients across all ages, focusing on neuro and orthopedic trauma as well as pediatric needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to a diverse patient population.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report significant changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Manage patient education and support families in care processes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN License in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, with experience in Pediatrics preferred.
- Current BLS certification; PALS preferred.
- Ability to float to other inpatient units as needed.
