Registered Nurse - Level 2 ICU
Location:
Marquette, Michigan
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Level 2 ICU team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a specialized environment, including open heart procedures, neuro surgery, and trauma care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care and manage a caseload of critical care patients.
- Utilize advanced equipment such as CRRT, Impella, and EVDs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with a healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status.
- Participate in floating to various units as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have at least 2 years of PCU experience.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Willingness to float to other units as needed.
