Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical
Location:
Marquette, Michigan
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions, assessing patients' needs and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must possess a valid Michigan RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical setting preferred.
- ACLS certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
