- Experience: Pediatric/neonatal experience preferred, specific skill sets required

- Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III NICU environment
- Support respiratory therapy and ventilator management, including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide
- Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, paracentesis, spinal taps, and exchange transfusions
- Stabilize and prepare infants for transport to specialized centers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatric subspecialists
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
Required:
- Board eligible or certified in Neonatology (preferred)
- Current NRP certification
- Pediatric/neonatal experience
- Valid state license in Michigan or ability to obtain one
- Experience with high-acuity neonatal cases such as VLBW, NAS, respiratory distress syndrome
- Skills in advanced neonatal procedures
