Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Job Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical unit within a 225-bed specialty care hospital, which includes a Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, and more. The RN will work with both adult and geriatric patient populations, handling cases that require critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced and often stressful environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care for adult and geriatric populations.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information and care in EHR (Cerner).
- Maintain professional conduct and compliance with hospital policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must possess a valid Nursing license in Michigan.
- ACLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting preferred.
