Quick Facts

  • Shift: 6am-6pm in the facility, on-call 6pm-6am, 24 hours/day
  • Duration: Ongoing, approximately 10-14 days/month
  • Hours/Week: Based on shift schedule
  • Employment Type: Temporary/Contract
  • Licenses/Certifications: NRP certification required;
    Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology preferred
  • Experience: Prior NICU experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $1.00 (pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do
  • Provide neonatology care in a Level III NICU environment
  • Manage acute cases such as Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Sepsis
  • Support stabilization and transport of surgical and high-risk infants
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RNs, RTs, pediatric specialists, and external consultants
  • Perform procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, central line insertion, paracentesis, spinal taps, and exchange transfusions
  • Utilize advanced equipment such as ventilators, oscillators, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) devices
  • Assist with neonatal stabilization and ongoing patient management
What You Need
  • Valid NRP certification
  • Experience with neonatal procedures (intubation, chest tubes, lines) preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in critical neonatal care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
