Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a dynamic environment. The role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work effectively in stressful situations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current Michigan RN License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- BSN preferred.
