Med Surg nurses provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and manage patients treated with pharmaceuticals. Primary responsibilities include:

• Complete assignments made by physicians
• Provide routine and post-surgical care
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform treatments
• Administer medication
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment to ensure continuity of care
