• Oversee the overall direction and supervision of patient care activities and nursing personnel of a nursing unit.
• Consult with staff, physicians and the Chief Nursing Officer on nursing problems and policy interpretation to ensure patient needs are met.
• Ensure nursing staff follows policy and procedures, and participates in the investigation and preparation of reports.
• Ensure adequate staffing for nursing units.
• Implement the Standards of Nursing Practice related to all nursing care areas and functions.
• Act as the administrative representative in the absence of the Chief Clinical Officer.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree required;
  Master’s degree in Nursing or a health‑related field preferred.
• Licenses/Certification:
  Registered Nurse. BCLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum three years’ leadership in all aspects of medical‑surgical nursing; minimum two years’ supervisory experience preferred; critical‑care experience preferred.
• Safety‑Sensitive‑Designated Position.

The base salary range is $77,000 to $111,000, subject to qualification, competency, experience, and other factors.
