What you'll do…

* Provide technical direction, execution, and oversight of tasks required for the design, development, and installation of production equipment and processes.

* Plan, design, develop, and implement assembly and test processes for new and existing products to ensure a flawless launch.

* Utilize lean methodologies and statistical analysis to ensure long-term capability and stability of new manufacturing equipment.

* Perform Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/A) activities for both existing and new technologies.

* Develop processes focused on improving yield, throughput, and ergonomics while driving scrap reduction and error-proofing.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with PLCs, motors, sensors, wiring, robots, frequency converters, and servos.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill all manufacturing engineering requirements, including PFMEA, DFMA, flow charts, and control plans.

* Manage projects including equipment acquisition, system documentation, vendor selection, and operator training.

* Lead problem-solving activities such as 8D investigations and Six Sigma projects related to manufacturing issues.

* Coordinate the installation and validation of new equipment at manufacturing sites.

* Maintain awareness of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and evaluate their relevance to business needs.

Candidates must possess full flexibility and a readiness to consistently work across all established standard, operating, and rotational shift schedules, encompassing day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
