To better serve the global auto industry electric vehicle trend in the United States, CATL, through its U.S.
-based subsidiary, CATK, is seeking a talented and dedicated Facility Engineer with expertise in steam/hot oil boiler systems and DI water systems to join our team. As a Facility Engineer at CATK, you will oversee the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of steam/hot oil boiler systems and DI water systems. You will lead performance assessments, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Functions
- Lead the construction, installation, commissioning, and regular maintenance of steam/hot oil boiler systems and DI water systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure safe and stable operation.
- Conduct performance assessments and implement improvements to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
- Develop standards to ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Evaluate and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.
- Develop professional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the management of water systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in the water system design.
- Well-versed in boiler systems, water treatment processes, and related equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM software for water system design and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule.
- Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position.
- Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill level.
- Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.
- Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.
- Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.
- Occasional lifting of heavier items may be required.
- Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation.
