, we’re not just assembling battery systems; we’re leading a transformation. In this role you will help launch a state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility from the ground up and support the electrification movement.
- Support all accounting-related activities including month, quarter, and year‑end close processes in accordance with GAAP.
- Develop accounting processes and recommend solutions to optimize accounting efficiency.
- Review and develop monthly Financial Statements.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations.
- Run ad‑hoc reports from SAP S4 Hana Public Cloud.
- Serve as accounting subject‑matter expert on cross‑functional activities, liaising with Parent Company Central Accounting and guiding Operations Finance.
- Support recording, tracking, and accounting for Advanced Manufacturing Production Tax Credits (PTC).
- Collaborate with the operating team to collect and document backup for PTC calculations and reporting.
- Interface with corporate stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and document retention.
- Collaborate with the Office of Tax Counsel to collect procurement and usage data for tax liability calculations.
- Research and record vendor‑related taxes including sales and use tax.
- Help obtain Direct Pay Certificate and Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption.
- Support property and customs duty tax matters and advise operating team on tax code impacts during Source To Pay.
- Create financial and accounting reports to support supplier contract performance language.
- Maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
- Utilize advanced financial tools and analyze large data sets to improve delivery of responsibilities.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA, CIA, CFA, or CMA preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control mindset.
- Proficiency with financial and accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Office. Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytical tools such as Alteryx or Power BI are preferable.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with large data sets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative across functions, and a willingness to be a team player.
- Full flexibility to work across standard, operating, and rotational shift schedules, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
This position is a salary grade with a range of $65,100 – $109,300. Final determination will be based on skills and experience.
