Speech Language Pathologist in Marshall, MI

Make a difference in early childhood education by providing speech-language services to PreK and Kindergarten students for the  school year. This opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping young learners reach key communication milestones. The position is full-time with flexibility for part-time and hybrid arrangements, though onsite presence is required most days.

• Active Michigan SLP license required (please include a screenshot of your license with your application).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Experience in school-based settings, specifically working with PreK and Kindergarten students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Ability to adapt to onsite and hybrid models (please note, fully remote candidates will not be considered).

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver speech-language therapy to students.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective communication strategies are integrated across learning environments.
• Track student progress and document outcomes in compliance with state and district guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress updates to all stakeholders.
• Help shape assignments during the placement process, with caseload details finalized prior to the school year.

This contract offers up to 40 hours per week, providing consistent hours while supporting a balanced schedule. Assignments and placements will be determined prior to the start date, ensuring a smooth transition into the academic year.
