School Speech Language Pathologist - Marshall, MI

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language pathology services for students in a supportive educational environment near Marshall, MI. This full-time contract role offers up to 40 hours per week, primarily serving early childhood and PreK-12th grade students. As an onsite provider, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to help students develop their communication skills and achieve their fullest potential.

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license issued by Michigan (MI)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience in a school setting, especially with early childhood or PreK-12 populations, is preferred
• For Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates, a supervisor must be arranged prior to placement
• Must provide verification of licensure via the Michigan Department of Education

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in line with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational team members to support academic and social success
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Engage with families and caregivers to provide education and resources that support generalization of communication skills beyond the classroom
