Job Description

  • Receive, process, and track ECM’s (Engineering Changes) through Marshall. This process involves interpreting the ECM, identifying the Marshall impact, and coordinating with involved parties the implementation. Interaction with Marshall Martials, Engineering, and Accounting.
  • Those changes not managed through a Launch Team will be coordinated by this position. This position will schedule and coordinate weekly meetings to track implementation progress.
  • The position may require interaction with Tenneco Product Design Team to accurately understand the change.
  • Progress of all ECM’s sent to Marshall will be tracked and periodic reports published showing progress.
  • Requires that this position can obtain and maintain a forklift operator’s license.
  • Key skill sets are working knowledge of Marshall production as well as SAP experience: MRP and Drawings.

    Education and/or Experience

    Minimum of 3 years work experience in a plant environment working with Manufacturing parts.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    While on the Manufacturing floor, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection and safety shoes must be worn. Environmental aspects of this facility include use of electrical energy, paper/paper products, generating waste paper, scrap steel, steel offal, greases, oils, lubricants, etc. and the proper disposal of said products.
