Build Your Career in ManufacturingEmployment Group is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Operator for a manufacturing facility in Marshall, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term growth and career development. Successful candidates will start as an Injection Molding Operator and, through training, skill development, and performance, can advance into a Setup Assistant role with increased responsibilities and higher earning potential.
What You'll Do- Operate injection molding machines in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assemble, inspect, and package molded parts according to quality standards and work instructions.
- Maintain accurate piece counts and scrap records.
- Assist with job setups and machine changeovers as training progresses.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Learn and support company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Participate in training designed to prepare you for Setup Assistant responsibilities.
- Support production goals and perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing experience required, injection molding highly preferred
- Experience with machine setup, stamping, sawing, or other manufacturing equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to quality, accuracy, and safety
- Reliable attendance and a dependable work ethic
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new processes
