• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Evaluate, triage, and implement care according to physician instructions in a fast‑paced emergency environment.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being.
• Assist with minor medical operations and advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs and coordinate with other healthcare providers.

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lean, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong stress‑management skills and ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
