As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a crucial role in delivering professional nursing care, utilizing all phases of the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will lead and supervise a dedicated patient care team, collaborating with various disciplines to ensure comprehensive care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing patient care with critical thinking and independent judgment
- Supervising and directing the nursing patient care team
- Collaborating with team members and other disciplines
- Documenting patient care, conditions, reactions, and responses to treatment
- Tracking patient progress
- Need 2 years experience in Emergency Room setting
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Charge nurse experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA
- Michigan state nursing license
- TNCC certification preferred
