Registered Nurse - Birthing Center

Schedule:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• 2 years of current Birthing Center experience
• Experience with laboring patients, delivery, and postpartum care
• NRP certification preferred; must be willing to obtain if not currently certified
• BLS (AHA) certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients using critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Utilize all phases of the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and supervise the nursing patient care team, which typically includes CNAs and LPNs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and other disciplines in the provision of care.
• Document patient care, conditions, reactions, and responses to treatment in a timely manner and track patient progress.

Compliance / Notes:

• Holidays and weekends are rotating, and on-call duty may be required.
