American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience, Cerner proficiency, and prior charge experience.

• Emergency Room unit with 11 beds
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1pm-1:30am flex)
• Every other weekend required
• Available for holiday coverage
• No on-call requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission, compact license not accepted
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• TNCC certification preferred
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications required
• Medical-Surgical skills checklist current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment

• Provide professional nursing care using critical thinking and independent judgment across all phases of the nursing process
• Direct and supervise the patient care team, including CNAs, LPNs, and other technicians
• Collaborate with own team and other disciplines to provide patient care
• Complete timely documentation of patient care, condition, and response to treatment
• All scheduling and RTO requests must be submitted prior to offer; requests made after offer or at interview will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of RTO accepted for the assignment
