This on-campus position requires teaching a variety of courses in management, entrepreneurship, social suitability, business technology, and other management courses as needed. Teaching may be delivered in the classroom and/or online to undergraduate and/or graduate students. Additional responsibilities include advising, student club advising, involvement in department projects and activities, representing the department at campus‑wide recruiting events, participating in campus committees, contributing to student growth and experiential learning, engaging in scholarly activities, and providing service to the university and community.
Faculty are expected to engage in regional service, education, or study as part of their community service responsibility.
- Ph.D. or DBA in Management or related field (or expected to obtain the degree within one semester of appointment).
- Teaching experience in management courses at the undergraduate level.
- Demonstration of teaching excellence (student evaluations required).
- Professional work experience in entrepreneurship or management.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, online and web‑supported course delivery methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Teaching experience in entrepreneurship and management courses at the graduate level.
- Evidence of current scholarly activity.
- Demonstration of teaching effectiveness in an online or Hyflex delivery method.
- Evidence of positive student impacts outside the classroom.
- Understanding and appreciation of liberal education and a global perspective.
