• The Assistant Coach will be involved in all aspects of coaching responsibilities including recruiting, practice, organization, scheduling, trip organization, fundraising, alumni relations and summer camps.
• Responsibilities may also include intramural director, game management, marketing, advertising and promotions, special events, weight room/fitness center director and Office of Admission recruiting.
• Responsibilities may include budgeting and hiring, and supervision of student workers.
• Coaching and administrative duties will be 75% of the assignment.
• The position includes a teaching assignment of six credits (25%) that reflect the candidate's degree, prior teaching experience and/or area of expertise.

• Master's degree
• Collegiate basketball coaching experience
• Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written skills
• Understanding and appreciation for Liberal Arts Education
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds in support of university mission to foster a global perspective

• Experience with Upper Midwest collegiate recruiting
• Experience with camp coordinator experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and effective human relation skills required
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Synergy
