Long Term Substitute School Social Worker Or School Counselor
Position available for school year.
Position location:
Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC), with placement at the ELC Marshall in Marshall, MN.
Major responsibilities and duties:
- School Social Worker - works with families and/or children that have emotional, social, personal or family issues that are interfering with achievement or personal well-being.
- School Counselor - responsible for individual student counseling and group guidance functions by encouraging students to obtain the optimum in educational, vocational, and personal development.
Qualifications:
- School Social Worker
- Bachelor's degree required. MN licensure as School Social Worker from Department of Education and MN Board of Social Work. Must have good organizational skills and ability to interact with multiple agencies. - School Counselor
- Master's Degree required. Must be eligible for or hold MN licensure as School Counselor from Department of Education.
Salary/contract: LT Sub position beginning at the end of September for about four months. Bachelor's salary ranges from $54,477 to $74,870. Master's salary ranges from $64,965 - $96,796. All dependent on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience.
