Position: Middle School Teacher .5 FTE

True Light Christian School is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as one of our Middle School Teachers.

Applicants must be born‑again believers who feel called by God to help students live a life pleasing to God. Candidates will need to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Licensed teachers are highly preferred.

Responsibilities will include: reflecting the purpose of the school, motivating students to work hard, lead students to Christ, keep proper discipline in the school, maintain a well ordered classroom, plan and assess student work.

Love for Christ and children

Wholehearted agreement with school’s Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education

Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions

Ability to work with and be a part of a team

Ability to work independently

Knowledge of classroom management, planning and assessing student work

Regular attendance at a local Bible‑believing church

Collaborative workplace & highly encouraging culture
Paid time off
