True Light Christian School is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as one of our school nurses.
Applicants must be born‑again believers who feel called by God to help students live a life pleasing to God. Candidates will need to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Applicant must have an RN license.
Responsibilities will include: screening for vision and hearing, keeping medical records up to date, training staff as needed on specific student needs (allergies, diabetes, medications, etc.), caring for sick students, teaching students regarding health topics.
Qualifications- Love for Christ and children
- Wholehearted agreement with school’s Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Ability to work with and be a part of a team
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of student medical needs
- Regular attendance at a local Bible believing church
approximately 15-20 hours per month
