Head Start Classroom Support - Marshall

JOB STATUS:
Full-time (36 hours p/week), 12 months

As a Head Start Classroom Support, you'll work side by side with our Head Start Teacher to spark curiosity, build independence, and inspire little learners - all while supporting parents to become their child's greatest advocate.

• Team Up in the Kitchen:
  Help with food prep and cleanup - keeping things organized and tidy.
• Stay Organized:
  Keep everything running smoothly with accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping.
• Add a Healthy Twist:
  Bring energy and creativity to health and nutrition activities that inspire kids to make healthier choices.
• Be the MVP:
  Step in for the Head Start Teacher when needed - you're the ultimate backup!
• Pitch In:
  Help out with light janitorial duties when necessary - teamwork makes the dream work.
• Promote the Program:
  Support recruitment and enrollment efforts to spread the word about Head Start.
• Prioritize Safety:
  Ensure a safe environment for everyone, every step of the way.

• You know your way around a computer.
• You're a team player and can handle tasks on your own like a pro.

• You're up to speed on child development - oreager to learn.
• Problem-solving and keeping the peace? Piece of cake!

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma/GED and/or relevant experience.
• CPR and First Aid Certified - or ready to get certified.
• Food Safety Certification - or the willingness toget certified within 3 months.

• Salary range of $16.25 - $23.42 p/hour + Benefits
• Full-time (36 hours per week), 12 Month Union Position
