This is an in‑office position that can be in West Fargo, ND, Chandler, AZ, Marshall, MN or Devils Lake, ND. Standard office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST, Monday – Friday.

The Credit Analyst II is responsible for working with the Credit Department and Sales Department to evaluate and underwrite small‑ticket transactions. The role includes reviewing and analyzing customer credit information, making credit decisions within the assigned credit authority, and aligning with the organization’s vision, core values, and team guidelines.
Responsibilities- Investigate, evaluate and underwrite small‑ticket transactions in accordance with credit policies and guidelines, program structure, and delegated credit authority.
- Evaluate commercial and consumer credit reports, analyze tax returns and financial statements, and review other sources to determine customers’ credit capacity.
- Professionally communicate decisions to Business Development Managers and vendors.
- Work closely across departments to develop, structure and document commercial transactions.
- Perform limited annual reviews on existing customer relationships.
- Oversee modifications or changes within a credit profile.
- Contribute to the review of vendor profiles and support administrative contracts.
- Aid with the development, refinement and maintenance of department processes and reporting.
- Research and resolve technical exceptions to credit policy determined by internal and external parties.
- Assist with special projects, which vary by workload, organizational priorities and identified initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Business Management is required with 3+ years of credit analysis/underwriting experience in a commercial lending capacity environment. Specialty equipment finance and/or C&I lending experience is preferred. Formal credit training is beneficial. Candidates must have strong proficiency in analyzing and interpreting both personal and commercial credit reports to assess creditworthiness and risk.
Compensation & BenefitsStarting Salary Range: $52,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year. This is an exempt, salaried position. The range represents a good‑faith estimate. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, experience and qualifications.
