From designing complex network infrastructure to supporting mission-critical systems, your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional care, every time.

What You’ll Own

• Architect & Maintain: Design and implement scalable, secure network, compute, and storage infrastructure that aligns with industry best practices and Oaklawn’s long-term vision.
• Optimize & Support: Monitor performance and proactively troubleshoot across Windows, Unix, Citrix, VMware ESX, and Active Directory environments to ensure optimal system functionality and business continuity.
• Collaborate & Lead: Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors on enterprise-wide projects, delivering secure, fault-tolerant solutions on time and on budget.
• Secure & Protect: Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, wireless networks, IP telephony, antivirus tools, and disaster recovery protocols with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Document & Train: Produce detailed documentation, contribute to standard operating procedures, and assist help desk and clinical teams with expert technical guidance.

What You Bring

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s in Information Technology or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on network/system administration experience (or equivalent combination)
• Certifications:
• Preferred:
  Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMware certifications
• Technical Mastery:
• In-depth knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls (Palo Alto), VPNs, LAN/WAN, VLAN, and virtualization (Hyper-V, ESXi, Xen)
• Advanced troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark
• Proven experience with data center LANs (Cisco Nexus 9K/5K), and security systems
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical thinker and collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to drive technology projects and influence outcomes across departments
