Be the Technology Backbone of Our Transportation Team! Do you love problem-solving,keeping systems running smoothly, and helping people succeed through technology? As a Technology Systems Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Transportation Department by managing and improving the technology systems that keep our operations moving.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Move Technology Forward:
Support technology projects from research and planning through implementation and deployment. - Keep Systems Running:
Maintain, repair,and upgrade computers, software,hardware, and operating systems for localand remote users. - Provide Tech Support & Training:
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network,VPN, and VoIP issues, and deliver clear,effective technology training. - Manage Technology Assets:
Purchase,inventory, and track equipment while documenting support and repair history. - Support Daily Operations:
Perform routine system checks and updates and serve as a key liaison between staff and management on technology needs.
- You’re tech-savvy:
You understand computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals. - You know your networks:
You’re comfortable with TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and Active Directory. - You manage systems with confidence:
You have experience with Windows Server/Desktop OS,VoIP, and virtualized environments. - You’re organized and proactive:
You’re aself-starter with strong problem-solving andtime-management skills. - You work well independently and with others:
You collaborate effectively while managing your own responsibilities. - You communicate professionally:
You interact clearly and courteously with staff, contractors,and participants.
- Minimum:
Associate degree in Computer Science with two (2) years of related IT experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. - Preferred: A+ Certification and other relevant industry certifications.
- Salary range of $20.44 - $31.34/hour + Benefits
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
